I got this idea from Chris's blog where he listed 95 creative things to do. I plan on doing a few others.

Good show, good show...

Yesterday was a very long day. I woke up, as I often do, at six o'clock and wasn't able to fall asleep again. A few hours later, I went to my first class, only to find out that I got 76% on a midterm because of one stupid little mistake in one question. I also had a Calculus midterm in the afternoon, which I'm sure I did badly on. My hopes of keeping that 85% average in order to keep my scholarship are slowly dwindling. Then, I met with Jojo and we went shopping and coffee-drinking, which was a nice break from all the stress I've been experiencing. Later, I met up with Sam and we eventually headed to the music department to pick up our equipment for the show. After waiting for the other band to set up at the Maysen, which was quite a wait, we finally did our sound check. And then we waited for a couple more hours before starting the show. I think that we started around 45 minutes later than advertised, but once we got started, we were pretty awesome. I was pumped, at any rate. Our set only lasted for 50 minutes, I think. We made a few mistakes, but I think that overall, it was a good show. We stayed to listen to the other band we were opening for, Snap Caravan, until two o'clock in the morning, I think. After we had played, I was in a state of shock, I think, because I was having trouble responding to the people congratulating me. Oh well. It wore off later and gave way to extreme fatigue. After 20 hours of wakefulness, I was finally able to go to bed and I did. And it was good.

A few new shows!

I haven't written in a while because I've been busy and/or lazy, but that's all going to change now... at least until I've finished this post. Anywho, a few new exciting things are coming up. First of all, Doppelganger Effekt is going to have its first show in a while on Friday, Nov. 18th at the Maysen in Lennoxville, and I'm very excited about that. I also have a concert with the Bishop's Chamber Orchestra coming up, and the concert with the University Singers. Both should be exciting. I've made the posters for those shows and they can be found here and here. And now, I'm going back to the neverending homework...
